“Thanks to over 2,500 donors that supported the Barry County United Way “Give Today, Change Tomorrow” 2012-2013 campaign and the Florence Tyden Groos Endowment Fund, 27 programs will be funded through allocations with an additional 56 agencies receiving designations,” says Cort Collison, Allocations Chairperson.

The Allocations committee presented their recommendations for funding agencies for the 2013 – 2014 fiscal year. “The Barry County United Way Board of Directors approved agency recommendations as presented,” states Collison.

Any 501(c)3 agency was able to submit their application by the December deadline. The allocations dollars were based on their requests.
